Tunisia has prolonged a long-running state of emergency by one month till Jan. 30, 2024, the state information company reported on Saturday citing the official gazette.
The North African nation has been beneath a state of emergency since 2015 after an assault wherein a number of presidential guards had been killed.
Declared initially on November 24, 2015, in response to the assault on the presidential guard leading to 12 fatalities, the state of emergency within the nation has been constantly prolonged.
