NCD Screening Fortnight will be celebrated in health institutions

Surajpur: As per the instructions of Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh and Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. RS Singh and Dr. Deepak Jaiswal District Nodal Officer NCD. NPCDCS under the guidance of the program. Under the program, NCDs will be organized from March 17 to 31. As a fortnight, all health institutions of the district, community health centers, primary health centers and health and wellness centers are being celebrated. Under this fortnight, non-communicable diseases like BP, sugar screening and cancer screening will be done for men and women above 30 years of age and medicines will also be distributed free of cost. The District Nodal Officer informed that free VIA test for cervical cancer patients would also be provided by trained doctors and staff nurses for screening of cervical cancer in all community health centers and primary health centers and district hospitals. The Chief Medical and Health Officer has appealed to the common citizens that all the women and men of the district who are above 30 years of age should go to their nearest health center and apply for NCD.
