Recovery of the manpack suggested that the accused could be related to the Naxals. During the arrest a person later identified as Rohit Rai had run away, he was recently arrested by the Aurangabad police and confessed his involvement with the Naxal group.”
“Following the intel shared by Rohit, the police team raided and busted a mini gun factory near Aghaura pahad, the recent development suggests that there is an attempt being made to revive the Maoist insurgency in the region, others associated with the Maoist group in the past are also being monitored, the remaining active members of the group will soon be arrested”, added SP Sharma.
