Indian blended doubles pair of Sathiyan Gnanasekaran and Manika Batra superior to the quarterfinals of the WTT Contender with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Tin-Tin Ho and Samuel Walker on Wednesday.
Manika and Sathiyan toiled laborious for 40 minutes earlier than eking out a 6-11 11-Eight 8-11 11-7 11-Eight win over the English pair of their first spherical match.
The Indian duo, which had received a silver on the WTT Contender Nova Gorica in Slovenia final November, will tackle the Spanish pair of Maria Xiao and Alvaro Robles subsequent.
