Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday stated the state cupboard might be expanded quickly and it’ll comprise each previous and new faces. He was speaking to reporters on the Swami Vivekananda Airport in Raipur after coming back from New Delhi.

Sai took oath because the state’s chief minister on December 13. “Yesterday evening I went to Delhi. I met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Bharatiya Janata Party president JP Nadda there and held some discussions. The state cabinet will be expanded very soon,” Sai stated.

Asked in regards to the induction of latest faces within the cupboard, the CM stated, ‘It will be a mix bag of old and new faces. We will have to wait for a bit for the cabinet (expansion) but it will be done soon.”

On the BJP’s promise to obtain 21 quintal paddy per acre on the charge of Rs 3,100 per quintal because the paddy buy train is underway, Sai stated the promise made below ‘Modi ki Guarantee’ (referring to his occasion’s ballot manifesto) might be fulfilled.

Except Dharamlal Kaushik, all these leaders served as ministers within the earlier BJP governments within the state.

The names of IAS officer-turned-politician OP Chaudhary, Gajendra Yadav (each OBC) and Domanlal Korsewada (SC) have additionally been mentioned in political circles as potential recent faces.

Among girls leaders, the names of former Union minister Renuka Singh, ex-MP Gomti Sai and former state minister Lata Usendi are doing the rounds. All the three hail from tribal communities.
