BJP promises free visit to Ayodhya for women, senior citizens in Madhya Pradesh ahead of polls

Women and senior citizens shall be in a position to visit the Ram Temple in Ayodhya for free if BJP retains energy in Madhya Pradesh, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh mentioned on Tuesday.

Speaking at a rally in the Jaora constituency in Ratlam district ahead of Friday’s meeting elections, Singh mentioned that in 1980, the BJP had vowed to construct the Ram Temple in Ayodhya after it bought a majority in each homes of the Parliament.

“I have come to invite you to the consecration ceremony of the temple on January 22, 2024,” he mentioned.

“The BJP has decided that if it retains power in Madhya Pradesh, the elderly people and women will be taken to Ayodhya for offering prayers at the Ram temple,” the Union minister added.

“The BJP government does not discriminate against any person on the grounds of religion,” he mentioned.

“We saw that the husbands of sisters belonging to one religion used to break off their marital relations by pronouncing `talaq’ thrice. We did not care about votes and enacted a law to end this practice of instant triple talaq,” the defence minister continued

Under the Narendra Modi authorities, India has emerged as a strong nation in the world, Singh mentioned, including, “we won’t spare anybody in the event that they mess with India.
