Delhi: 2 Dead, 6 Injured As Wall of Under-construction Building Collapses in Okhla

In an unlucky incident, two staff had been killed and 6 others sustained critical accidents after the basement wall of an under-construction constructing collapsed on them in southeast Delhi’s Okhla Phase 2 space on Thursday. The fireplace division obtained details about the incident at 4:55 pm following which three fireplace tenders had been instantly rushed to the spot.

The incident occurred when excavation work to assemble a basement was underway on the web site, situated at Sanjay Colony, Okhla Industrial Area Phase 2, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southeast) Rajesh Deo mentioned, including that eight individuals obtained injured in the incident and had been taken to AIIMS Trauma Centre, the place two of them — Raman (18) and Mintu (50) — had been declared introduced lifeless.

Of the remaining injured, three staff — Gulshan (28), Devender (33) and Nitish (23) — are underneath remedy at AIIMS Trauma Centre, whereas three others — Arun (22), Nirmal (23) and Jaldhar (50) — sustained accidents in the incident.
