Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Friday evening despatched Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange a draft ordinance relating to his numerous calls for.
Shinde held conferences with officers to focus on the calls for, and later despatched a delegation with a draft ordinance to meet the activist, who’s tenting in neighbouring Navi Mumbai with hundreds of supporters, mentioned a press release from the chief minister’s workplace.
The delegation included social justice division secretary Sumant Bhange, Aurangabad divisional commissioner Madhukar Arangal, chief minister’s private secretary Amol Shinde and others.
Jarange earlier within the day had introduced that he would resume his march in direction of Mumbai on Saturday and launch a starvation strike if the federal government didn’t meet his calls for by tonight.
