8000 Indians left Ukraine, will go to help Indians in 4 countries, become special envoy

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said that so far, six flights carrying around 1,400 Indian nationals have arrived in India. There are four flights from Bucharest (Romania) and two from Budapest (Hungary).

Today is the fifth day of the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. The Russian army continues to attack Ukraine’s capital Kyiv and Kharkiv city. Here the government of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has made a new plan to expel Indians from Ukraine. In this, four ministers will be sent to 4 countries bordering Ukraine.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Arindam Bagchi said that we have decided to deploy special envoys in 4 countries bordering Ukraine. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia will go to Romania, Kiren Rijiju will go to Slovak Republic, Hardeep Singh Puri will go to Hungary, VK Singh will go to Poland. He said that all of them will coordinate and monitor the evacuation process there.

Arindam Bagchi said that we urge all Indian citizens and students to go towards Western Ukraine. Do not go there directly towards the border. There is a lot of crowd on the border. We request you to visit the nearest city. You stay there, our teams will help there. We have a new route through Moldova, it has started now. Our team will assist you. Our teams will assist in the evacuation of Indians through Romania. He told that if needed to get the Indian out of Ukraine safely, then we will also take the help of the Indian Air Force. He said that we will send humanitarian aid along with medicines to Ukraine.

Here Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar tweeted that he discussed the developments in Ukraine with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland. He further said that we appreciate Poland’s help to evacuate Indian students from Ukraine.

At the same time, before bringing the Indians trapped in Ukraine back to India and going to Poland, Union Minister General VK Singh said that I am going to Poland. We will try to evacuate people in coordination. The Prime Minister has given a message that people have to be taken out safely and taken to their homes.
